JAMES ROBERT PENDLETON IS AN EASTERN ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN, CURRENTLY ATTENDING SAINT DEMETRIOS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH IN FORT WORTH TEXAS, USA. HIS CONVERSION WAS ON JANUARY 17TH 2004, WHEN HE MARRIED HIS WIFE OF OVER 20 YEARS (DEBORAH). HE HAS A BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER, DANITA SOPHIA, WHO IS A SOPHMORE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS (UNT).

JAMES’ EARLIEST SUCCESSFUL CAREER WAS WITH THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SUBMARINE SERVICE. UPON HIS DISCHARGE FROM ACTIVE DUTY AFTER SERVING 16 YEARS, HE STARTED WRITING POETRY AS A THEREPUTIC PROCESS DEALING WITH HIS DISCHARGE FROM THE MILITARY AND OTHER MAJOR LIFE ALTERING EVENTS.

READING POETRY IS GREAT THERAPY. IT ALLOWS THE READER TO SEE DIFFERENT POINTS OF VIEW CONCERNING ISSUES THAT PLAGUE OUR WORLD TODAY.
